Experience peace and nature in our cozy cottage by Lake Mörtsjön!

Welcome to our cozy stuga, located in the beautiful landscape of Jämtland, just a 2-minute walk from the pristine shores of Lake Mörtsjön. Here you can swim, fish and fully enjoy nature. The area offers peace, space and endless possibilities to relax or be active.

The stuga: Comfort in nature

Upon entering through the back, you are welcomed into a spacious hall, where you can hang your coats. From here you have access to the bathroom and the second bedroom.

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need: an oven, a 3-burner electric stove, coffee and tea supplies and a spacious refrigerator with a small freezer.

The living room is a lovely place to relax, with a comfortable 3-seater sofa, two armchairs and a large wood-burning stove that provides extra atmosphere and warmth. You can watch (free-to-air) TV on the smart TV or enjoy the impressive view through the large window, where nature unfolds in all its splendor.

Adjacent to the living room is the spacious master bedroom with two box springs (80×200), which you can place either together or separately. Here you will also find a large closet and a play chest with toys for children up to 12 years old. Thanks to the many hours of sunshine, the room can be completely darkened for a good night’s sleep.

Back down the hall is the bathroom, equipped with an ecological toilet, a large sink and a shower. There is also a second bedroom with a practical bunk bed, ideal for children or additional guests.

The area: Nature and adventure

The nearest village is Stugun, where you can go for your daily shopping and other necessities. Would you like to take an excursion? Then Östersund, the largest city in the region, is a must. Here you will find supermarkets, shopping centers, cultural attractions, cozy cafes and the beautiful Lake Storsjön.

Yet you do not have to travel far to experience the most beautiful nature. The area around Stugun-and especially right by the stuga-is breathtaking. You will find vast forests, scenic hiking trails and beautiful landscapes waiting to be discovered. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are countless activities such as hiking, wildlife spotting, canoeing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter.
