This typical Swedish stuga (cottage) is located in the province of Jämtland near Gällö. The stuga is a 5-minute walk near the lake (Revsundssjön) and a small beach. Relaxation, surrounded by nature and pure enjoyment of space and silence are our characteristics of staying here.

The cottage can be reached by car via the cities of Sundsvall and Östersund. There is also a flight connection to Östersund, where you can rent a rental car.

By car you can be in Gällö in less than 10 minutes. Here you will find the train station (Mittbanen), a supermarket, Sweden 365 (covered cross-country ski tunnel) and Mickelbacken (ski slope). Östersund is the capital of Jämtland and here you will find as many as 300 stores and about 50 restaurants and bars. From the stuga you can be in Östersund in less than 45 minutes. The house can accommodate two people, and in the summer there is room for two more because of the small stuga outside. There is electricity, water (hot and cold) and an ecological dry toilet. The cottage can be heated with a wood stove and or electric heaters.
If you want to spend a day inside, there are games, books and a TV with free-to-air. You can also connect the TV to your own phone so you can watch your favorite programs with your own Netflix or Youtube subscription. Please note that you will use data roaming for this, there is no WiFi available in the stuga.

There is plenty of space around the house to relax outside. In the garden there is a terrace with 4 garden chairs and a barbecue. If the season is right, you can also go into the forest with a berry comb and a bucket, which is in the small stuga. 

Lake Revsund is known in Sweden for its rich fishing waters. Our vacation home is an excellent place for fishing. Of course it is possible to bring your own fishing equipment. There is also a basic set of fishing gear that can be used.
