The location is just stunning and so peaceful, we loved sitting by the window with a cup of tea and just watching the trees and little birds, the lake is visible from the windows too. The cabin is so eco friendly, but you have absolutely everything you could need, warm and cosy with a great hot shower and everything needed to cook food in the kitchen. The eco toilet was not an issue at all (zero smell!!). There's no WiFi which was actually lovely because it meant we could switch our brains off for a few days and just read our books and play games, very much needed in todays chaotic world. The hosts were absolutely lovely, they provided local recommendations and were super responsive. Alles is aanwezig voor een goed verblijf, het huis is zo sfeervol en smaakvol ingericht. Super schoon. Communicatie met verhuurders erg vlot. Posted onVerified Fairy Tale Cottage in Beautiful Nature Setting ☺ This little cabin tucked away in a beautiful setting amid lakes and rolling hills was the perfect little escape from everyday life. The cabin is very well supplied with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is very comfortable and relaxing. The fireplace was warming and cozy on a midwinter day. There is a manual that comes with staying here and actually it really helped me to know what to expect and proceed without issue, especially with the compost toilet that I was not familiar with. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. It was very cozy inside and furnished nicely. The facilities were great for cooking etc. The hosts were very providing and informative and made the stay very smooth. ☹ The eco-toilet was a little strange, although understandable considering the remote location.
